Baby coming today June 14

Hey guys,

just wanted to let everyone know that they are inducing my wife today June 14. We came in last night at midnight and it's currently 8:30. They told us to expect something around dinner time this afternoon so I will keep everyone updated.

As of 6:35 eastern time we are the proud parents of a 6lb 10oz baby girl named Ava. Momma and daughter are both healthy and beautiful.

She is so precious, Matt. It is incredible how fast they grow! I know when our daughter was born back in 2003, it seemed like she had always been there and I couldn't remember life without her. Children are such a blessing.

Kelli was scheduled to be induced this Friday, July 30th, but at her last check-up they said she wasn't ready, so she goes back this Thursday, July 29th for a check-up to see if she is thinning then. If she is, we could have Zach on Friday. If she isn't, we will just wait until he's ready. We are all very anxious, especially our daughter Melanie. Keep us in your prayers and I'll give an update as soon as I hear something.

It's great to see Christians with kids, cause i trust you guys will raise em up in the way that they should go. Sometimes a youth/childrens worker i've felt pressure because i knew that outside of church, some of the kids just weren't hearing about Jesus!

Well, Kelli is one centimeter dilated and 50% effaced. Her doctor has scheduled her to be induced next Thursday, August 5th at 5:30am. However, she added that Kelli could go on her own anytime as all of this progress has happened within only the last week.
