Our Pastor is short for this world.

The pastor at our new church, Ed, has been alive for an amazing 23 years on Dialysis. He was battled cancer in that time and numerous other health problems. He never looked it as being cursed with sickness, but as he looked at his condition as a wonderful example of God's strength in his weakness. It opened so many doors as he broke records and surpassed expectations for survival. Well the time has come for him to go Home. God arranged the timing wonderfully, 3 of the current membership received their license this past Friday, and the one of them as well as an elder, myself and a mature member all went to the pastor's conference to be recharged and prepared. Ed called the churches elders to him as we were on the way to the pastor's conference. He has had no dialysis since Saturday, God could take him at any time. I just ask that you pray for his family, and for the 3 men whom with the elders will be praying to learn who God is gifting to the church as their new pastor. The entire church needs God's spirit of unity for the change to come.

He passed Friday so now the concern should be for his family and for the elders of the church as the next pastor is selected.
