This year's rules

Though it may be the offseason, there is plenty of things to discuss concerning "the league." Talk about the upcoming draft here.

This year's rules

I noticed the team roster is set to 6 BN players, instead of 9.

Will it stay at 6 or go to 9 like last year?

Thanks

Good observation, I adjusted it, we are now at the standard 18 player roster.

Thanks for catching that, let me know if you have any more questions. We're looking at Saturday, August 18, at about 11 o'clock, sound okay?

Thanks, man. Just wondering about that.

Time and day sounds good. As of now, any time on the 18th is good, if the time needs to change.

We're actually thinking of pushing even earlier, i'll let you know. Thanks for the flexibility.

So your interested in Mcgahee?

:D
I think McGahee is 1st round material this year. He scores high on all indicators, a lot of things are aligned just right for him.
If the first 5 picks go a certain way, I just may take him at 6. If top 5 go that particular way, I'd be getting a real good 2nd rounder too.

Hmm, to me you'd be taking a fairly big risk their, but he really does have some good features to his situation this year. Your in a very good spot for a second back, you may be in T. Henry territory for the 2nd round.

1. LT
2. SJ
3. LJ
4. SA
5. Addai

That's my guess for this year, could be wrong, I might take Fred Taylor ; )

yeah, I couldn't take McGahee or Henry in the 1st. Definately in the 2nd though.
Although I don't see either of them being around by my 2nd (19th overall) pick. I'm sure someone in the 9-12 pick will waste one of their picks on Henry and McGahee. I guess I'll have to settle for a top QB or WR in the 2nd.

But I kind of like the idea of taking that 2nd RB early. Heaven forbid if the guy who gets LDT also gets Bush, MJD, Maroney, or Edge :D

I'm not picking until 24th. So i'm in Brandon Jacobs, Benson, T. Jones range, just not sure if those guys are worth it, I"m probably looking receiver QB route.

Hard to say though, every year I'm surprised by what is or isn't there.

Didn't you go
1. rb
2. qb
3. wr
last year?

I think I'm on to your draft strategy brother.

That was my order and I think a solid way to go.

But I took Brady WAY to early in the 2nd round.

We are quarterback heavy though, that's the benefit of taking one early, if you get the right one.

I'm really torn this year. Whoever would be my second running back just isn't that great at my 2nd or 3rd pick, may have to wait to the 4th round.

Jesus Blessings,

Also there has been some activity on the board on yahoo.

Seems Mr. Payne is getting ready, our league just seems to be getting better every year. It's a real blessing.
