Round 3: January 1-February 12

We want to seek God with our whole hearts, bodies, and souls, so we're going to seek Him 6 weeks at a time.

I don't come around and you are totally slacking.....what's up with that?

LOL...just kidding. ;)

Seriously, what seems to be keeping you from keeping your goals? Any help or suggestions needed? Words of encouragement?

I know you have it in you to do what you set out to do.

I will be checking in again so I expect to see some better results. :D

So, this makes me ask two questions:

(1) What different or new ways are you pursuing God?

I know that I've said that before and it really meant that I was just in a rut and I wasn't feeling up to meeting my normal standards. I just wanted to make sure this wasn't happening to you.

(2) Are you really stopping on Feb. 5th?

I was just checking my calendar and 6 weeks would end at Feb. 12th.

I guess it'll be Feb. 12th. I thought the 5th was too soon.

Logging my progress and time right now seem like a chore, and I'm not sure why. I don't want to be obligated to do anything but pray and read the Word. Trying to make myself read or do anything else is hard. So, technically, I could be in a rut of sort.

One thing that doesn't help is that i've gotten a ton of games for my gameboy advance...:shifty:

Hehe, thought so. Sorry to here that though.

Well, I probably am too. I've not read much of anything lately and I've not even really kept up with the bible study.

I need to read and practice guitar, but I really feel like I just haven't had the time this week.

I would love to sit aside some time and play my Wii but I just don't know if it's possible.

Today is my last day, which I am thankful for. This has been a rough 6 weeks for sure, and having trouble sticking to a schedule. Just when I feel that I am leaning on the everlasting arms, turns out I'm leaning on myself and I fall every time.

I'm going to start praying about Round 4. Expect a format change, more like a blog than a list. I really need to learn to pray continually, not pray conveniently.
