Round 3: January 1-February 12

We want to seek God with our whole hearts, bodies, and souls, so we're going to seek Him 6 weeks at a time.

Round 3: January 1-February 12

Round 3 Folks!

Round 2 was great, but the Christmas break has been a little rough. It seems that by structuring this the way that I have, and break time is zero God time. I haven't been praying or reading His Word over the break, which has really put me in a funk.

Anyway, I'm glad to be back on track. Exercise should figure in now. Leslie had been taking anxiety medicine, but recently was taken off and told to exercise for a minimum of 30 minutes a day to keep her seratonin levels up. I'll be excercising with her, mostly walking.

Here are my tentative plans for the next 6 weeks.

Physically
Do excercise at least 5 days
Every day- Walking
MWF- push-ups & sit-ups/crunches
TR- chair dips & lunges
I'll probably try to do various stretches each day that I work out

Spiritually
Read 7 pages of "Captivating"
Read at least one Chapter of the Bible per day
Get up at 6:30 to do quiet time (no TV or internet before I get to work)
Be a better spiritual leader (pray and study more with Leslie)

Other
Read DC's Kingdom Come
Go to bed no later than 11:00

My biggest goal is to get closer to God and put Him first in my life and marraige, and to also cut out my biggest habitual sin.

I wonder why it is that on the weekends we seem to accomplish less? Maybe it's just me, but Saturday and Sunday seem like days that we are less busy, so we should get more done...
