Return to Niger: June 1st-14th, 2009

Hey all! This year my team and I are returning to Niger, West Africa. Our team consists of five people, four returning members and one new one.

- Gabe Supino

I ask that you keep our trip in your prayers. There are great things happening in the village of Dargol, and the Lord is sending His spirit to the Songhai people. We will be working with IMB missionaries Brad & Sally Womble, as well as three Brazilian missionaries: Diego, Adriana and Jorgelina. What an adventure! I am proud of you for the courage and conviction to follow the Lord's lead. It is cool to think you are there right now, guiding our new brothers and sisters in Christ. My mom heard from the group yesterday. They haven't had phone or internet yet, but one of the girls on the trip borrowed a phone from another missionary over there and she called her mom, who called my Mom. They said everything is going well, and will try to get more information to us as soon as they can.

Got this today from Chad

Just got back from 2 nights in Dargol, a village in Niger. We are now in the capital of Niger, Niamey, and we are gearing up for a day off.

We will be heading back to Dargol on Monday. Things are going well, though the temperatures have been very hot. Just thought I'd send you all an update. I'm not sure when I'll have a chance again on the internet until after June 14th.
