Men of Valor

We would love to know how you involved or would like to be involved. Maybe you just have questions on where God wants you. In either case, this is the place for such topics.

Men of Valor

Postby Tim Elf on Tue Feb 28, 2006 11:24 am

I'd appreciate prayer for my upcoming high school guys' weekend retreat that I call Men of Valor.

I've got a mini website for it here:

This is an annual event that I've been developing more each year. It's a LOT of work. My youth pastor leaves this one entirely up to me.

I will try to remember that in my daily prayers.

EDIT: I really should learn to gather all info before I say anything...Matt already has it taken care of...

Welcome back, btw Tim. It's good to have you around.

Thanks. This event is going to be better than ever. I'm getting more and more excited, both from an entertaining point of view and spiritually.

Last night, I was typing my notes and was actually in tears because some of it was so beautiful, regarding Christ as our great Hero.

All of my "curriculum" is based off of two books: Every Young Man's Battle, and Wild at Heart. The latter is good for every guy. If you're already married, check out Every Man's Battle (Young Man's is for the teens).

I've read both of those books, both are awesome books.

Hopefully it all goes well!
